Since you ask goldfan, I would prefer a dilutive cash raise here than gifting away my main asset now the gold is booming. This asset is the only ace we hold to get LCL back higher and recoup our money, we are not going to give it away for peanuts to van wijk buddies. We are talking for billions of dollars of gold in the ground here, I'm not sure how familiar you are with valuing gold resources but this is an asset worth 100m usd (or 50m usd if you apply the most hideous discount factors) on market value and you don't just giving it away for 5mil usd just to avoid a cap raise. A cap raise to do what? To drill in PNG and find another big project there (if you are lucky) and then sell it for peanuts again to another buddy?? Do you understand the amount of money spent in Colombia already to get this resource to where it stands today? We financed this and not we are getting scxxed. How much money did van wijk put there? I guess nil.
