RFG rebounds as chair speaks out
Embattled franchise owner Retail Food Group has rebounded by 30 per cent in Monday’s trade after new chair Peter George set out his plan for the company’s turnaround.
In an exclusive interview with News.com.au on Friday, the chairman said he “can’t change the past” but was working “feverishly” to fix things for the group’s remaining franchisees and shareholders.
The market value of RFG has collapsed from as much as $1 billion at its peak, to $31 now.
In Monday’s trade, shares were higher by 33 percent to 22.5c.
