Agreed the LP Portable system D526 they were using probably don’t use a lot of powder.
But when you get into the HP TKF systems that are capable of high deposition then it wouldn’t take too long to go through 100kg bags.
I see your point but there’s also definitely considerable revenue to be made out of powders and consumables at the bigger machine end… regardless who owns the machine
