Article in today's AFR mentions Baxter ( PIPE ) who is on the board of VOCUS is considering a punt( bad choice of word ) on Big Air. Understood preliminary discussions are underway. Vocus recently requested sharholder approval for a 2nd cap raising in 12 months. EGM for approval is on 23rd June. 15% x market cap of $135M = $20M. They have $5M cash leftover from the last I think. On 2012 earnings Big Air is at 30 - 35 cps value i.e $45M to $52M. Suggest half cash / half script offer will be made, maybe some debt, although these telco companies don't seem to take on debt ? Jason Ashton then gets a seat on the board with his good friends at VOCUS + a stash of cash...back office functions combined and VOC have compelling network solutions. My two largest shareholdings are BGL and VOC of the 3 holdings I have. Will report back after Micro Equities conference next Tues where Jason and James will both be presenting - I'll try corner them before Carlos from MicroEquities does although Carlos is a white pointer and I'm just plankton in the whole scheme of things
