Noticed myself, and yes as you said a bit disconcerting. There are many many positions at play, oil, government, commodity exchanges. Financial alliances are being tested and new ones made. The true hero's of this age are the ones that can be steadfast amongst the onslaught. As difficult as it is, gotta stay tough. I just keep telling myself, oil looses, electric wins, because politicians and governments say it has to happen. So I figure just wait, once the manipulators have stopped juggling their balls, no pun intended! The sp will go up, it has too that's what they want.
