Maybe a change of JV operator requires 100% unanimous support within the JV?
FAR does not support it, if they did it would undermine their dispute with COP. FAR cannot support it. I flagged this as a catalyst when the WPL investor presentation was released.
If Cairn want to pass operator to WPL sooner rather than later Cairn will not appreciate FAR delay on arbitration with COP. Perhaps FAR angle is free carry from CNE and/or WPL to waive their rights?
Business can be ugly sometimes but it doesn't have to be.......
