Yeah it's hard to read this. I like the response from FAR but I'm just wondering that the mkt might read this as an overreach. What FAR has said is likely true but all the decisions rest with CNE who has been complimentary of WPL. Anyway had to be said.
Issue now is,
1. When do FAR go to arbitration. I'd prefer sooner rather than later.
2. When does WPL say to COP, sort this out or we're out. Unlikely.
3. When does CNE and WPL say to Senegal govt. make this go away and back the two major partners or the JV development work will stop after this drilling round and you could have a bigger issue on your hands In essence I think this is what WPL annt is all about.
I don't think FAR or Senegal govt want any court proceedings just COP to provide compensation but COP seem to be dismissing all attempts.
