Unfortunately, in the face of temptation and just all too often really, personal integrity can go straight down the toilet.
It's true that once upon a time we lived in an era where those aggrieved had no means by which to reasonably address skullduggery. They just had to, basically, suck it up. That was such a shame.
But times have changed now. If someone wants to play that lack of integrity game, that screw you Jack I'm okay kind of game, then I guess go right ahead. It's a free country. We are so fortunate to be able to make all sorts of choices. But just know that those affected may now call you on it, and an accountability game might surely follow.
It is pretty hard for me to imagine IMF Bentham pursuing any case purely for the sheer hell of it. I've tried, but I can't.
I just think times are different now. That's all.
