The ASX response states that Phil Staveley is paid a base salary of $1.5m, more than the interim CEO of Beach Energy. How can Murray Chatfield as Chair of the Audit Committee and the NRZ board justify paying the MD of a broke company that has achieved nothing in the past 2 years $1.5m a year base salary? It is outrageous.
