Truth be told who ever heard of a company having its CEO permanently located in one continent and its CFO in another. Its probably partly the reason why the company has been financially dysfunctional. The CEO and CFO should be joined at the hip. Sorta implies her role was token, mainly responsible for ASX compliance reports but everything else - capital raisings, negotiations with Star Bright, etc has been monopolised by the CEO (and COO).
There probably isnt any justification for an Australian-based CFO, particularly if infusions is flogged off. Jumped or pushed? I'm sure she started updating her CV around about August...
