I'm well aware that abalone are exceptionally tricky to cultivate (hence the high price they command), what I've still seen no evidence of is that there are demonstrated examples of seaborne vessels being 'responsible' for the spread of disease.

You dont have to look hard to find evidence of Vibrio diseases spread by ships. Here is the first reference I found on google.

There are many examples of marine pests being spread by ships. Vibrio is an infectious disease that can be transmitted by many means. The risk that ships could, may, possibly, maybe spread vibrio is one that needs to be taken into account in the EPBC assessment and I am sure it is close to the top of the list of concerns held by the ab farm.
