I find it all a bit weird, 16c EPS for the first half, I would expect the second half to be around the 14c mark as long as there are no major upsets so we are looking at 30c for the year.
I like HVN & think it is a well managed company but over 16 PE is just crazy town numbers in the current macro economic climate.
The first half result is exactly what I expected, what confounds me is my expectation was that the market would react and kick the price back down in the low to mid $3 range.
Oh well, there is accounting for taste & I for one am not going to pay 16 times earnings no matter how much I like the company - I will find another home for my funds.
