Typically using a diminishing value method where initial years have higher nominal depreciation than latter years, it could very well be 5+ years.
It's hard to imagine that anyone would think an ATM only lasts a few years, I'm frequently seeing even those cheap 7/11 types that are a decade old. The actual bank ones last decades!
