This announcement seems extremely suspicious. I have contacted Tony and Brian and said they need to do an investor call immediately to explain the poor results.
RAP have had the algorithm and increasing database since March. There is no chance they have not been continually testing the algorithm during this period. If they knew the results were not maintaining their accuracy, then it was negligent of them to enter into the revised scheme with Pfizer that included the Confirmatory Data Study.
It also begs the question as to what Pfizer previously knew and why they requested the Confirmatory Data Study.
Everything points to both parties knowing what the outcome of the study would be and using it as a means to compel shareholders to accept the Pfizer offer.
I’ll give Brian and Tony a chance to respond. If they do not do so in a reasonable time, I will be contacting ASIC and raising these concerns.
