In the AGM Presentation the CEO highlighted that full results for Neuren's Fragile X project were presented at a national neuropsychiatry meeting in April 2013 and were being prepared for submission as a peer-reviewed paper.
I've covered this before but here's a quick recap as to why this will be an excellent part of Neuren's scientific communications.
1. It's how the company will get the information about what they're doing out to investigators, funding sources and potential partners. The FRAXA Investigators Meeting in Boston at the end of September should have many of those 150 researchers listening with interest.
2. It will certainly raise the profile of the Fragile X program for a much wider audience than just presenting at meetings.
3. The Fragile X study was very comprehensive and also worth noting is that there are many publications on other molecules for the company to make comparisons.
4. This will not be a lengthy process to get published. In my experience, it typically takes between 4-5 months.
If the peer-reviewed paper was submitted end of May 2013, there may be a chance that the paper might be ready in time for the FRAXA Investigators Meeting in Boston at the end of September. Now wouldn't this be something worth presenting?
