Welcome to the world of sunk costs. I know if I was a big insto I would keep my foot on the throat of AXP to drive the best deal possible. While a CR at 9c would not be good for those that invested in 2016, this is the price to be paid for past management failings. I certainly hope you are right, but the balance of power is with those with the cash.
