I should point out they have effectively dropped 'The Tasmanian Food Co' brand in favour of TasFoods.
But the TasFoods brand is largely just a corporate brand, there is nothing linking the brands / together.
MVD sits on a shelf in Coles in QLD or WA and nothing about it screams Tassie, sure a small map on the packaging, but not much.
And no one will ever really know that MVD is own by the same company making Nicholls chicken.
If they want to leverage Tassie provenance, they can't invest in 9 different brands, where none of them mention Tassie in the name.
