- Note 18 that at the close of June 2024, the number shares issued is 639,202,310
- The weighted average number of shares used for calculating EPS is 634,658,764
Put simply, shareholders owning less than half the issued shares voted - those that did not vote got the same BOD who had been destroying shareholders wealth.
It should be noted shareholders participating in Resolution 1 and 5 totalled 245.551 million shares (For/Against/Abstain).
How did the number of shares voting for resolution 2 re-electing Deborah Neff increased from 245.551 m to 321.723 m = an extra 76.171m shares.
This is an extra 23.9% of voted shares (76.171m/(221.796+98.379) !!
She was elected with 69.27% for and 20.79% against. Without the extra 23.9% of shares voted, she would have got (69.27% - 23.9% = 45.37% ??
Shareholders should ask the company to explain how and where the extra 76.171m shares came from ??
