The main difference in relation to over promising / under delivering, is that the old management could not possibly have known what the oil situation was going to be a couple of years ago when they were making these promises, where as the new management came into their positions under no illusions about the oil situation.

Worth considering when judging someone's performance.

I am still in the camp of those who appreciated Maurice's efforts and where he took this stock from 12c to 5 dollars in difficult times. It was a great effort achieved by much perserverance.

I am sorry that circumstances prevented him from seeing the job done.

His efforts deserved a better outcome in my opinion..

Just my thoughts.
