And to clarify further, without the EI last year I doubt I would be as involved investment wise, I certainly watch things which others may have little interest in.
You need a mindset that says I want to own it, whilst not wanting to go back to olden times, a Woods wanted to own and control it, probably still does, a bit like a Twiggy would want to I guess, not same class of course but you get my drift.
If you don’t own it you work for whoever owns it, you are an employee. No matter what is said or not said at AGM’s, if directors have no advantageous ownership then they are simply not in control, no matter what the team may say or think.
The AVB ownership is not fully settled, it’s not any worry I have, just an observation that changes in ownership and directors are likely IMHO.
But I have few if any concerns about being able to manage the show on the ground, be it with largely the current directors or one or two others, finding such people in Brazil is not too difficult IMO, certainly not something that would concern me compared to beneficial ownership. Others dwell on all sorts of things which do not bother me much at all, finding, digging, shipping, billing, banking is no special art.
Ownership has massive implications for my money and yours if you are invested here, yet few even give it a thought let alone a comment, plain odd I reckon, but then we all have different ways of looking at things.
All guesswork and please dyor.
Cheers
Phil.
