at the end of the day, even though Michael Pope may have been very good for the company, if he was up against it at the board level, i doubt he would be able to do much, and that would of been a negative for the company, because the board would be distracted with infighting
having served on a couple of boards, it is a game of politik and unless you can muster a majority, you won't be able to do much except ask questions.
I also don't believe this board is totally inept either, under the previous leadership allot of goodwill was destroyed and now everyone is paying the price.
There are quite a few positives in this company and i think most will agree that the company is trading way below where it should be, there are worse companies out there that trade at a higher premium
So as long as there is no further "disasters" it won't take much to see this stock trade 2-3x the current price
