EQX has 131,000 shares shorted. One broker is the dominate shorter and is responsible for the BOT trade of 23 shares here and 44 there etc.
I don't think they have picked on EQX but perhaps they have shorted IO stocks as a macro call and EQX has been included in that basket.
GO to the ASIC website and review the excel spreadsheet of short positions. ASX list is unreliable.
