While the Renumeration Report was voted to be adopted, I note that 20% of the votes were Against. That's quite a number of disapproving shareholders. I think the adoption of the Renum Report was likely, as the directors/MD own approx 1/3rd of the company, last time I checked. To get a majority Against, you would need a very large % (i.e. over 75%) of the other 2/3rd shareholders to vote Against. The fact that 20% of all shareholders voted Against suggests 30% of non-GSW management shareholders voted Against. I hope management note that sizable amount and that they stay humble, work hard and focus on returning value to their long-suffering (and, er, mostly forgiving ) shareholders.
