This is a company that mostly does well.

Sadly, leftie activists tried as best they could to ask numerous questions at today's AGM, best described as 'baiting'.

Like any energy source and SOL/NHC , thermal coal isn't perfect but it has an essential place in meeting the world's energy needs.

The activists strike me as very comfortably off, upper middle class to upper class and largely working in the public sector, with Australian politicians having given them a holiday in the ongoing agreement that the vast majority 'work' - I use the term advisedly - from home. In Victoria, Daniel Andrews has even said government 'workers' can return to the office at a slower rate than in the private sector. There's no health-related reason.

I am happy to invest in SOL and NHC. If the activists ran SOL, we wouldn't see the capital growth and constantly increasing dividends that Mr Millner, Mr Barlow and Directors have delivered on.

These woke activists need to visit nations like India, Indonesia, Philippines and numerous others and converse with people who exist on a few US$ a day (despite what had been up until COVID-19 very fast growing middle classes, and an overall reduction in poverty) to see whether the locals would like it if energy cost more because coal-fired power stations were suddenly closed.
