Agree with you there, there are projects drilling in under a year, but as what I have mentioned before, it also depends on the are and country. Take our Tin for example drilling within 6 months after acquisition if I am not mistaken as there is no communities and such to deal with.
The only forward plan or drill ready projects I have seen mentioned was Don Enrique in Peru, which did mention community approval is required by Peruvian law. Austria is similar as well, that local firm was engaged to submit the permit application and get community approval, not sure why that is taking longer than expected. I suspect because it is in a sensitive area, there are a few ski resorts not too far away.
