I did the numbers on what Hopper made out of VLA years ago - lost the info. I do know his holding wasn't big - he was hired as director to pull them out of the toilet and help raise $, he had no founding shareholding, nor did he sell any of his IP into VLA and pick up a stock position (a la IMU et al)
I do know @ EOFY 2017 he held
766,000 options - a variety of strikes (200,000 @ $.33 266,000 @ $1.2, 300,000 @ $.66)
180,000 shares
Considering there were no further issues of options after the 2017 AGM, @ $1.75 he grossed roughly $1.65m on a guesstimate $600k outlay. Call it around a mill and I reckon you're about there.
Don't forget, the guys who made the biggest and fastest return were Lepu Medical - VLA issued 36m shares @ $.82, only to have MSD buy them for $1.75 6 weeks after they wrote the cheque. I reckon $30m for 6 weeks 'work' is good in anybodys books. Made way more than the inventor/CSO, CEO and entire board combined.
