McDonalds early model from the 50s to 80s was to buy well-located sites. Even if the businesses weren't always great, there was money to be made in capital gains on good read estate.
I haven't had time to digest this announcement but do any of the stores come with real estate? Or are we stuck paying rent every month forever?
