a good hypothetical to pose to yourself chilli, is; lets say there is a rally to your break even point and then another long plateau . Do you then stay or jump? If you stay, it means you had an invest hold strategy all along, and you can afford the hold. If you can afford the hold, stick it in the bottom drawer and play another game.
