    " Somehow, it manages to be impacted by grain prices as much as grain production."
    I noticed this straight off well deciding to buy and have been wondering what the cause is.

    My only take is that grain prices fall due to high productivity, high supply, yet this happening globally. When this happens demand in destination markets falls due to high local supply, so the amount of grain GHC handles for exporting declines. This could be a physical reason for it, there are likely to be other reasons coupled with how GHC gears its own finances and hedging that ties it to the grain price.

    Anyway that's just me trying to puzzle this out. Would be very happy to here more learned explanations.
