After testing to detect ovarian cancer in 400 female bio-banked samples of ovarian cancer and aged-matched healthy controls.
The objective of the company’s latest study was to further improve the algorithm used in the Ovarian testing which the company hopes will be used for early detection of ovarian cancer.
All in all, the study determined that BD1'S Ovarian accurately detected ovarian cancer and thereby provides us with further rationale for developing it into a commercial early detection test.
