I think there is a danger of equating Australis's situation with the rest of the world. We are but a drop in the ocean in terms of world EV production, as well as being way behind in seeing the pressing need for the reduction of reliance on fossil fuels. Look at Europe now trying to wrest itself from Russian oil and gas supplies. Then consider China post current COVID restrictions. Rather than stagnate or contract, demand for lithium is about to explode way beyond any increase in production. It's just hard to see that demand from our little backwater.
