Realistically, there were only a few weeks from the receipt of those options, when those options could've been used. Since late April, they have been a negative carry and practically worthless.

The reason the company offered them is to reward long term shareholders and that's the same reason those options are not listed or tradable on Asx either. Well, if they really want to reward shareholders(?), they better do something that actually makes people better off. Extending the strike period would be one option for example.

Right now, any randomly picked lithium company would offer better returns than GBZ in the past 3 years.
