If you were selling Anteo X how would you go about it? would you lock up your scientists with 10-12 high priority partners without one development agreement in place? and say no to smaller players because you don't have the resources?would you waste time with partners that wouldn't agree to something like the following:
AnteoTech: "if we can achieve a X% increase in charge, X% decrease in size of anode, X% decrease cost of anode, do we have a deal?"
Customer: "hell yes! where do I sign?"
AntoeTech: " here's the development agreement. Upon AnteoTech meeting all conditions, you agree to pay a milestone payment upon completion of the development. If you then decide to take this battery to production, then here are the terms"
I think Anteo's problem has been the customer always try to screw us at the end of the development. It sure looks that way. We achieve everything they want, and MORE! but they all walk away. Strange huh

Interesting opinion, concerned about the 'walk away' though - you say 'strange' I ask WHY?
