It's a fair question, why would reputable business individuals stake their reputation? I don't have an answer for it and quite frankly, it's not for me to answer. And it doesn't matter anyway, they're not executives, what they do wont have any meaningful impact on the company. It's just window dressing to keep you guys believing in all the hype. It seems to be working.
GSW convinced Fidelity to hand over $100million of investors hard earned funds, you would have thought that they'd be a bit more discerning than the average punter, right? Well, they weren't.
GSW is worth less now than it was before Fidelity put their cash in (when you adjust the market cap for cash in the bank).
Point is, some people with big funds to manage and with good corporate experience are still capable of making really poor judgement calls.

Totally agree on your judgement call point.
Time will tell on the other arguments ‘both sides’ are making. While I have my view, and see the reasons why this will take time to be validated, I am getting sick of waiting!
