There seems to be some confusion as to the royalties paid. This is a note copied from page 10 of the FY 22 – December 2021 Half Year Results, dated February 2022.
(Note)3 Royalty costs include a state government royalty of 5% of selling price (FOB), a native title royalty of 1% of selling price (FOB), and a private royalty of 5% of selling price (FOB) on part of the resource/reserve acquired following the Altura Lithium Operation acquisition.
I have no idea what this "private" royalty is, or whether it applies to all or just part of the former Altura holding.
Hope this helps those speculating on likely profits.
