I think knowing what the illness is within hours has greater upside than waiting days or in some cases weeks.
For example i knew a friend who was showing dengi fever symptoms not long ago. Had z blood test and came back as glandular fever and not dengue. So i think there is a huge upside and potential for this technology, not only to put minds at rest but to properly diagnose within hours not days or weeks.
