In fact their answer as of yesterday was that 1Page had been taken over and that I need to do nothing as it is a non elective corporate action. Doesn't instill much confidence does it? Has anyone else experienced this sort of result?

Lodge a formal complaint.
Say you want compensation if they don’t act on your request.
Speak to a manager.
Tell them you will withdraw the complaint after they do what you want.

Just an idea. Worked for me in the past.
