Hi kk my take on this is nothing to do with "because he missed the opportunity" but to protect his initial investment , he knows the true state of books and ajm needed cash quickly to stay solvent that why the $15mill was made as a loan then converted to shares. This get the co thru a crucial stage of commissioning and low cash flow. this is imho. The$14mill from shareholders adds to this buffer = safety.
