That represents a kick in the a*se in my book. But will it have any effect? I feel it maybe time to consider forming a shareholder action group with the aim of getting a much better deal, once we know for sure mining is on the cards. As far as the gold is concerned that should be a certainty.
As individuals we are powerless unless we hold a significant number of shares-which i don't. Some of you wouldn't get out of bed for the amount I hold.
But,remember the widows mite.
As a group however, we would pack a punch, in so far as we could take independent action re the abuse of market rules and regs. Get an opinion from a commercial lawyer and based on that start an action. Possibly a - 'pay if we win'- legal entity might take up the cudgels.
We could form a company[shelf one would do] to canvas a takeover bid from some entity, here or overseas.Any savvy market operator looking at the blatant manipulation that has taken place with GSR especially, would know why it was being done, and with the share price at derisible levels, a takeover would be worth considering. Putting myself in it's position, I would build up a holding before putting in a bid.Then, either the t/o would succeed and those currently orchestrating affairs to give themselves the giant's share,would see their grand plans come to nothing, or if the t/o was foiled, the entity would be able to dispose of its holdings at a profit or remain in the game to reap rewards down the track.
Just some thoughts as I sip my whiskey.
