Maybe a coincidence - but the amount of shares bought by JG recently taken away from the Against would have made the vote precariously close - very handy having access to the cast votes before the meeting.
Self preservation is a powerful motive - staying in a job issuing yourself freebies and bonuses I am sure he will get more out of his investment than the rest of the retail grouping.
If he can get the SP to rise I will forgive him his human frailties.
