Just wondering if the following is a possibility so PLS can sell more spod on the BMX platform and still satisfy producers we have offtake agreements with.
Firstly the spod sold at the auction was 5.5% SC.
Are PLS able to run the plant so all or a certain percentage of output is at 5.5% SC, or is this is already what they are normally producing? I wasnt able to find any recent figures on this.
So if they are producing at 6% are they able to drop all or some production to 5.5%? This will improve recovery rates resulting in extra tonnes being produced.
The extra 5.5% spod could be sold on BMX and the producers with offtake agreements can decide to take or leave what is offered to them. If they dont want it then that goes on the BMX platform as well.
Of course there will be plenty to sell on the BMX platform once the Ngungaju plant ramps up.
This could be a way to get more spod onto the platform in the interum.
Just not sure if this is possible, or feasable, if it is then it would be a great outcome.
