Excellent news I wasn't expecting us $1,250 Fob on the first auction!
Definitely sets the stage for future auctions to come.
I posted this slide a few months ago showing the potential scope for addressable margin $1900 US
Is not out of the picture as the miners will have more leverage compared to the converters in this cycle.
At $1900 is a reasonable split of margin between miner and converter but with the perpetual supply deficit and 17 bidders looking for supply could even see some new converters squeezing there margins just to stay afloat resulting in even higher prices.
The ngungaju plant will see around 200,000tpa all sold on the bmx platform at these prices it will pull in $325mill Aud in revenue alone.
