In my opinion it is a very disappointing result but 6 months may be too short a period. I know someone who did not think they changed much in 6 months but they did change over a two year period.
Placebo did very well.
NTCELL120 did poorly.
NTCELL80 results look similar to the first trial.
The previous trial results seem to indicate that the improvement stays about the same over a longer time period. The question now is whether the sham surgery delivers the same results over a longer period.
Does anyone know if the patients who received sham surgery will now be informed ?
