I agree; nothing has changed. It's still at shell value. If nothing happens with BCL in Botswana then there will be some other deal. History shows this Volpe fellow can do deals. It might not have worked out in the end but he did do a great job negotiating the JV and getting them to pay the bills so shareholders didn'tnget diluted. Something will happen.
It's a shell with a bit of an asset and in my opinion worth a punt just to see what happens next. BHP is not doubling to $40 in the next few months but there's chance this might go to 0.04! (And yes, BHP won't cease to exist in a few months which could happen here but no ones going to let that happen to a perfectly good shell)
