I'm not trying to be cagey, it's just that I don't have any special insights. I could go into a lot of detail about what I do, but ultimately, my feelings are that understanding principles and having the right mindset are more important than actual method.
My feelings are that a business is worth the cash it can be expected to deliver me, discounted at a sensible rate. Sound familiar?
You can articulate this in many ways. You can think of it as an actual DCF analysis, or in a short hand form such as PE, EV/EBIT or whatever.
The important thing is that you are trying to get to the right answer.
