I've been following it for a couple of years and been invested for 18 months. Essentially the Rise and Shine discovery is the biggest proven gold find in NZ for over 100 years. It is in a good location for extraction with close proximity to labour, roads, water and electricity. The NZ government has given it fast track approval (this is not the same as mining approval) but means they can cut through some of the red tape through the process.
