Thats right alex. Spend the money where/when you find the gold, and as little as possible elsewhere. Once you know you're on to something, go for it....
Last year may not have been flush with eye poppingg new discoveries to excite the market (but some were exciting if you know what you're looking for) , but in my mind the market has not considered two things:
1. Not all new discoveries will turn into resources overnight and not all will develop as quick as konks did. It can take several passes and drill programs to unlock whats going on in a new discovery, before a resource drill takes place.
2. The AMX geo's learnt a hell of a lot last year with all the drilling and testing thats gone on over the huge 2012 feild program. I expect a more "fine tuned" approach this year , with a much higher rate of success as they understand the direction(s) of mineralisation. But again , it takes time to flesh out any new discoveries made.
Lets see what happens with Torkera this year . Already some good results there , next round of RC results could tell an interesting tale. Due out this month going by the quarterly , and a few other results to filter in by mid-feb also.
PS. I see they've applied for some licences in Ivory coast , just across the border --> hopefully something compelling there to warrant such a move , and probably just consolidating more of that same sheer zone that they are exploring at Batie - more SCALE.
