From the comments of the Chairman the current government will use the royalties generated from phosphate mining for pest management and nature conservation. CII holds lots of funds for worker redundancy and superannuation when mining finishes at some tine in the future.

Some of the cash could be directed at a share buy back.

Interesting to see they have set up a joint venture fertilizer business in India. Big opportunities in India but a difficult market!
