As you can see by my previous photos it was a lovely day in Perth..
I spent the day earlier with a small group of friends meeting the lovely people of Lepidico... Unfortunately I was running a little late but caught up with Mark Urbani who explained the process of lithium extraction process from mica. I consider them a company to watch absolutely.. So much passion. I look forward to sharing some stories there.
After a nice lunch I ventured to the Galaxy AGM and was presented by Nick Rowley a mug to drink my sav blanc from and a t-shirt which was highly unexpected. A very kind gesture.. It's XL so very big but will make a nice nightee.
There was an extra resolution to vote in Xi Xi which was unanimous.. I had a short moment to talk with her during the adventure. Very nice and friendly lady. - Go sister!
The AGM opened with Martin Rowley who read through each resolution other than the ones he was tied too in which Anthony read those results.
The atmosphere was positive and Anthony was very animated and extremely proud to share with the crowd his knowledge about the lithium industry and the main drivers to growth. He speaks with absolute confidence and there was not a single point I could disagree on.. He has done his research.. One thing I would say is he may want to consider talking about India also.. But it isn't a criticism, it's just another major market that needs the company product along with Europe and the America's
It's unfortunate that the presentation wasn't filmed because over time his presentations have become better and better. And his better was always the best so maybe that says something..
Anthony is quick with the numbers like some kind of Stephen Hawking and it might be worth the company buying him a whiteboard to express his knowledge numbers wise because it comes thick and fast..
After the meeting I shared some delicious treats and a moment with Anthony Tse, Nick Rowley and Martin Rowley...
These guys are a team.. If they were comedians they would be comparable to the three stooges. By that I mean they are well bonded.. Anthony was bright and vibrant.. He really connected with those around him. Nick was amazing.. I could see so much passion within him.. But the star of the show was Martin Rowley. I will call him Grandfather Galaxy from here.. There is just this vibe that he provides which reminded me why I invested in this company, but there is more..
He was asked various questions but the one that stood out to me was what occurred to bring the current board about..
To be simple and choosing not to offend anyone I will say that without him we would not have the company we have now.. Further more he chose Anthony Tse with the support of some major holders to place Anthony is his position.
Without Martin's actions the long term holders like myself would not have the shares we have today... In fact this company would not be here..
There was so much more that Martin shared that was just warmed the heart.. He has some significant connections to the point we could say they are almost family..
So I say I got it wrong.. And I am glad that the company achieved FOR on each point requested..
The questions asked I will go over in another post. But I just wanted to dedicate this post to GG, Grandfather Galaxy.. Martin Rowley..
It's not about one many, but at least the three Genetlemen I met today that gave the feeling of being family.. The Galaxy family..
