You don't need any crystal ball or any clever analysis - you just need to spend 30 seconds with the numbers - its really simple as outlined in my earlier post. If you (or any other shareholder) voted, then the Directors and Doug Barry voted even less than what the numbers show. They collectively have 40 plus million (straight from the respective declarations and documentation in the Annual Report - so I take that as accurate. The number voted in the affirmative - circa 20 million. There is the analysis - pure, simple, factual and quick.
Another poster says - who cares - its irrelevant - the Resolutions passed and that is all that matters and then suggests my views are just conspiracies. If you are both satisfied with all that or want to believe that - then, good onya. I would have thought reading between the lines is a fundamental of analysis and sound share market research.
if you want to believe all the hype from management (of any listed company - not just MSM) and from rusted-on or locked-in shareholders - then again - good onya.
Why do you bother? - I am asked. Simple really - I enjoy the vigorous debate (dumb as DS, that it may get, at times - which probably further wets my responses) - and trying to unravel the mysteries of overly passionate shareholders who never see (or want to see) the woods from the trees and then come up with arguments, defenses and logic that are simply breathtaking - man, I wouldn't miss it for quids - much better than television. I love MSM.
I honestly hope Riva comes good and we get to witness the next few chapters - but alas - I think we have run out of story.
But let's keep the debate going - I love the bizarre and creative twists of reason and we all have a collective to write an interesting tale on what gets into the minds of various shareholders.
